I am a Microfinance advisor and Specialist. My strength lies in capacity building and program design for Group lending models of microfinance. I possess excellent communication and facilitation skills for adult learners in development. I hold an Adult learners’ certificate of the Global learners methodology from Davis Califonia – U.S.A. I also hold a Masters degree in Microfinance from the School of Economics – State University of Bergamo – Italy and a Postgraduate diploma in Universalising Socioeconomic security for the poor – at Institute of Social Studies – The Hague Netherlands. I have an international experience experience with the Grameen Bank, Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC) and ASA in Bangladesh;In Bangladesh. Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) – Ahmedabad and the state led Kudumbashree poverty alleviation program in Trivandrum – Kerala – India. I have supported NGOs in designing microfinance programs and other self help programs. I have also participated in participatory strategic planning for small business associations and micro-lending organizations.
